It started when one of my students wasn’t comfortable saying her full name to me.
If you’re not comfortable to say your name to a group how will you introduce yourself? And how will you sell yourself? What if you’re too shy to say what you do or what you’re trying to sell ?
Because pretty much everyone has to sell themselves at some point.
How much must that hold you back?
Because we do all have to sell ourselves, even if we hate it.
And perhaps you are ok to say what you sell but you feel the ick when you do it.
Or do you feel that the way you are talking about what you do isn’t as real or authentic as you feel it could be.
I think it all starts with feeling comfortable to say your name….
