Rebecca runs workshops for any group of performers who wish to improve their singing.
Whether you are an amateur dramatic society, an operatic society, a choir or a group who don’t sing yet but want to start, Rebecca can help get you on your feet or move your singing to the next level.
What Would the Workshops Cover?
The workshops are bespoke but the sort of topics included are:-
Safe singing and vocal hygiene.
Breathing technique, how to get more and how to make the best of what you’ve got.
How to produce different types of singing voices such as belting, sounding more “classical” or sounding more “musical theatre/contemporary”.
Song interpretation including how to embody the song fully.
What Does Your Group Need To Do?
All you need provide is a space and a pianist (I can bring a pianist with me but this will cost extra). Singers are welcome to use backing tracks but again you must provide the means, (with enough volume), to play them.
How Much Does It Cost?
Everything is negotiable. Price depends on distance of travel, when the workshop is and how many will be attending.

Rebecca is a trained actress with years of professional experience including performing off West End and London fringe, in both musicals and plays. Recent years have seen Rebecca performing her one woman comedy/dark show to packed houses around the Midlands as well as working with the satirical comedy troupe Unicycling Wombat.
Rebecca has also run choirs and coached singers for many years, teaching professional performers right through to absolute beginners as well as being asked to train singers (and non singers), at Universal Records and the BBC.
Rebecca is trained in many different approaches to vocal technique and takes a holistic and individualistic approach to each singer/group, working with each person in a way to suit their personality and needs. Some singers need to be coaxed whereas others simply need to pretend they are at a football match. Whatever it takes to get the best results for that singer.
Rebecca runs various choirs and understands about group dynamics.
Rebecca is highly qualified with a BA (Hons) in English and Drama from Queen Mary College (London) and Central School of Speech and Drama and a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Acting from Birmingham School of Acting. She has a teaching diploma ALCM (TD), from LCM and followed by achieving her LLCM in Musical Theatre in 2013.
